Turning a pilot into a consented reference
Your first real outcomes are your most valuable proof — if you capture them with consent you can prove, and revoke.
The first few pilots are where references are born. But a reference you can't back up — or that your design partner didn't actually agree to — is worse than none. Consent has to be explicit, recorded, and reversible.
Ask, don't assume
Before a quote, a milestone, or a logo goes anywhere public, the subject grants consent through a link sent to them directly. Nothing is published until they say yes. That single step is what separates a real reference from a borrowed claim.
Revoke means revoke
Consent can be withdrawn in one click, and when it is, the reference disappears from every public surface immediately. That's not just good manners — under GDPR Article 17 it's a requirement. Building it in from the start means you never have to scramble to honor a withdrawal.
The audit trail
Every request, view, grant, and revocation is recorded. If anyone ever asks whether you had the right to publish something, the answer is a timestamped record — not a memory.
